2008 Rally Day 4

Wednesday 1st October - Bupapest to Venice

With no checkpoints today it was a clear run all the way to Venice! After a late night the guys took it at there own pace today and we had a staggered start – with the romantic city of Venice calling we had arranged secure parking and private water taxis to our hotel where we had exclusive use of their terrace overlooking the water for welcome drinks. 

For the evening the rooftop bar was closed to the public (a first for the hotel!) so we could enjoy the amazing view. Canapés and candlelight set the scene for the traditional evening planned in one of the most amazing Venetian restaurants – again exclusively ours for the evening.
